New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on May 25, 2022) follows:

Lego Star Wars is the video game saga that represents the vast universe of the Star Wars franchise, but with characters and settings entirely made up of LEGO pieces.

Its most recent installment is ‘LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’. This game allows you to relive all the movies from the main line of the franchise, with the humor of the Lego games.

The game recently arrived, and players have discovered some issues. Recently, the game received a fix for a glitch where players were unable to interact with Maz, which prevented progress.

Now, it seems that the most recent update also brought other problems. Currently, some Lego Star Wars players are getting stuck on loading screen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

Lego Star Wars getting stuck on loading after latest patch

According to multiple reports, there is an issue where Lego Star Wars doesn’t get past the loading screen for many.

The most recent Lego Star Wars patch update reportedly brought the bug.

Stuck in hyperspace bug!

Someone else in this thread figured this out but I would like to get this stickied so everyone can move forward. I just tried what someone else figured out.

Newest patch has some people stuck in hyperspace during actual missions. Restarts and reinstalls don’t fix it. I was stuck on Episode 5: Revelations. The mission begins with a cut scene and then goes into hyperspace with Luke’s X wing on his way to Bespin. The bug is I would get stuck in hyperspace forever.

Episode V glitch

I’m currently trying to start Revelations, the last chapter of episode V. Every time I get the ship out of the swamp and select continue story, the ship gets frozen in the hyperspace loading screen and refuses to progress. Anyone else had this issue? Yea, I have the latest update. Any help would be appreciated, I just need someone to show me my place in all this.

Some players weighed in on the possible cause of the problem, pending an official confirmation:

Official acknowledgment, potential workaround

Fortunately, TT Games team is already aware of the issue. The reports are already in the hands of the development team, but there are no details yet about a possible ETA for a fix.

Hi there! We appreciate you reaching out! We’ve gone ahead and submitted a report on the loading bug you’re encountering in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to the game team on your behalf. If you have any other questions, please let us know!

However, there is a potential workaround that reportedly helps resolve the issue:

The fix if you have cargo that isn’t loading in the hyperspace area. Go to free play and go to space. If you are hauling cargo like for a smuggling mission, go complete it. As soon as I finished that and tried the mission again, boom! It worked and I was able to play the mission.

FOUND A FIX (for me anyway) – You need to complete the side missions – ‘A Run for Nunb’ and ‘Biggs Trouble’ even though they weren’t showing up as tracked. (Source)
