Search Google Photos by name

If you want to name someone on Google Photos, follow the following steps:
- Tap on the photo of the person you want to name. Enter the edit mode
- Swipe up and click on the category name people
- Click the edit icon
- Click on the face icon and then tap on the + button to create a new person

You can tag them, but they would be visible if you search with their name even without tagging.
Search for photos by location
Photos can now be searched by location on Google Photos. However, this feature can only be utilized if your camera has geotagging turned on or you remember the complete location.
When searching through the location, you’ll have to add the complete address for Google to extract the picture or video. It is a simple method to search your photos through location, given that you remember the exact address.

Search Google Photos by date
Searching Google Photos through date is quite convenient and you can easily search a photo by date by adding the date. If you don’t remember the exact day, you can add the month and year, and if you don’t remember the month, you can add the year, and all the pictures taken in that year will pop up.
Photos can also be searched at different times of the day, i.e., morning, evening, night, and afternoon by adding these terms in the search box.
