New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on May 18, 2022) follows:

Popularly known as Bloodhunt, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is one of the latest entrants in the Battle Royale niche.

The free-to-play title is part of the World of Darkness series and is inspired by the RPG tabletop game by the same name.

Developed and published by Sharkmob, Bloodhunt takes place in the city of Prague where war is going on between humans and vampires.

But since the game is fairly new, issues such as long queue times when crossplay is turned off on PS5 and an infinite loading screen after finishing match have troubled some.

Adding to the list of problems, Bloodhunt players are now encountering a reload bug where the weapon reloads multiple times (1,2,3,4,5). Those affected say it’s a game-breaking issue since it is killing them in the middle of a fight.

Players have already tried restarting the game and verifying game files via Steam but to no avail. Below are some reports from Bloodhunt players affected by the weapon reload bug.

Why do I keep reloading, what am I doing wrong? I have been using Siren and for some reason I must keep moving wrong or something as I weapon switch and my weapon is empty after I thought I re-loaded. It is probably happening every 3 matches. I must be moving too early and cancelling the reload, but not sure what I am doing. It is not the infinite reload glitch where you can’t reload non-stop or shoot because you can’t reload.

Reload bug? Can’t pick items? So on my last few games i mostly had a bug where i had to reload my weapon like 3\4 times even in the middle of a fight. Also in 1 game i couldn’t pick anything (Ammo, blood bags etc’…) so i could only use melee. Anyone had those things? I think the reload thing happens only with the AK tho. no sure.

As it turns out, Bloodhunt developers have finally acknowledged the weapon reload bug and said they are working on a fix. But it is still unclear when the problem will be resolved.

Hey Lyndon, yes, we are focusing our work on fixing the bugs including the reloading one. We will let you know once we get things done 🙂 Thank you for your understanding and patience!
