New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on February 19, 2022) follows:

League of Legends is undoubtedly one of the largest names in the gaming industry. Developed and published by Riot Games, the multiplayer online battle arena was released in 2009.

Inspired by DOTA, League of Legends is still going strong and has a player base of more than 180 million monthly active users. It is also one of the world’s largest esport.

That said, players recently reported about rune pages resetting or not getting saved while others said they were unable to collect Esports stream drops.

And as if that wasn’t enough, League of Legends players are now complaining (1,2,3) about missing Level Icon Borders. Players say they are unable to use any of their level borders and instead have to resort to the level 1 border.

It looks like only players with level 500 and above are currently affected by the bug. Many are frustrated and wondering when they will be able to use their level icon borders.

You can see in the image below the icon level border options League of Legends players with level 500 and above have.

My icons and border have vanished
As of today’s patch 12.4, my lvl 500 border isn’t showing, and all of my unlocked icons aren’t listed when I try to change my icon. Hoping I’m not alone in this and it gets resolved. Anybody else experiencing this?

What happened to the borders?
I finally hit 600 and was curious as to what it would look like but when I went to look nothing was there. Checked that tab where you could pick between the ranked or lvl border and all that was there was a lvl1 border? Is it something that’s being updated or is that a bug? I’m not using that doo doo ranked border either lol.
