Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, Division 2 is an online-only RPG title that was launched in March of 2019.

Set in Washington D.C. in the near future where a virus known as ‘Green Poison’ has taken over the city, players fill in the shoes of an agent working for the Strategic Homeland Division.

While the game was received coldly upon launch, Ubisoft said they have sold more than 10 million copies and termed it a commercial success.

But as is the case with the majority of Ubisoft titles, players have complained about issues such as the game freezing and crashing on PC after a recent update.

That said, Ubisoft recently made the game free-to-play for the weekend. But now, many who downloaded Division 2 say they are getting banned when launching the game for the first time (1,2,3,4,5).

It looks like the problem is preventing those affected from playing Division 2 altogether. Some initially thought it was a bug and tried restarting and reinstalling the game but that did not help either.

Hi, so this week there is a free week end to try the game and i wanted to try it because i remember that i used to enjoy a lot the first game when i were on xbox, and when the download was finished i launched the game to discover that i was banned from the game even tho it was the very first time that i played on this account, and i never used a cheat in any game because cheating is bad for litteraly everyone because you don’t enjoy the game because it’s too easy and you ruin the experience for other players, so can i be unbanned from being banned for nothing ?
