New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on April 30, 2022) follows:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the biggest and most visually striking games of all time. Set during the Viking expansion in the British Isles, players take control of a character named Eivor.

But in the last two years, players have complained about several technical glitches such as some being unable to see or join this year’s Ostara festival and Eivor getting drunk when loading into the game.

While Ubisoft seems to be working to fix the aforementioned problems, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is reportedly facing a new issue in the Wrath of the Druids expansion where many are unable to unlock the Double Trouble trophy (1,2,3,4,5).

Players say they have already acquired the two sickles and equipped them both but nothing happens.

Some have tried loading a save before they collected both sickles and tried equipping them again but that did not work either. It looks like the problem surfaced after the recent title update.

Below are some reports from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players who are not able to collect the Double Trouble trophy even after equipping the ceremonial and bone sickle.

Hi everyone, I wonder if any of you had the same issue as me. I cannot unlock the Wrath of the Druids Double Trouble trophy. I found both sickles and tried to equip each of them in both hands, and nothing happened. I’m playing on PS5, I have more than 190h of game. I tried to remove all equipment, go back to England and equip again. This does not help.

Just ran into this problem on PS5 wrapping up the Irish DLC. I have the PS4 disc with PS5 upgrade which I bought at launch and played 5% of the main story back in November 2020, then leaving it until a couple of months ago when I started a new game. It’s the only trophy I have left for Wrath Of The Druids.

Thankfully, Ubisoft Support Staff has commented on the issue where Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players are unable to unlock the Double Trouble trophy and said they are investigating the problem.

Sorry to hear that you are unable to unlock this trophy. I can see that this issue has been already reported and it’s currently being investigated. In order to speed up the investigation, can you please provide us with a few screenshots showing your trophy locked and being equipped with two sickles? Last, but not least, can I kindly ask you to confirm if it’s your first playthrough or the second one? Many thanks and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.
