The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is one of the best Android smartphone series to date. Released in January of 2021, both users and critics alike have praised the Galaxy S21 series for its software as well as hardware.

But despite this, Samsung said that the S21 lineup sales figures were the worst in the history of the S lineup. Data also suggests that the sales figures for the S series are dwindling every year.

Having said that, Samsung recently updated the Galaxy S21 series to One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. But soon after, users complained about issues such as unresponsive Back and Home buttons and inaccurate color palette.

And now, Galaxy S21 users who updated to One UI 4.1 are reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the Recent app suggestions function is broken. Many say that they are only able to see stock Samsung apps in the bar below the recent apps.

Some users say they are facing the same issue on One UI 4.0 running the March security patch, suggesting that the might be affecting devices with the March update.

Clearing the system cache, and restarting the phone seems to be making no difference.

Recent/most used apps isn’t working correctly. it’s only been showing me these same stock apps every time I use the recent apps button. It never used to do this, I’ve been noticing it now for a few days. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Anyone else have this issue?

In case you don’t understand, the bottom LEFT III YOU CLICK ON IT AND WHEN YOU OPPEN A APP IT DISPLAYS IT WITHIN THE BOTTOM 4 APPS.
