Ubisoft recently updated Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with a brand new expansion pack known as Dawn of Ragnarok. It is the third DLC for the game and expands on Norse mythology.

The latest expansion pack lets players explore the Svartalfheim realm as Odin, who is on a mission to save his son Baldr from the giant Surtr.

But soon after it was released, players have reported a number of issues such as many unable to attack Jotun warriors and runes disappearing after gear was automatically upgraded to Divine quality.

Having said that, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players are reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the Finding Fritjof quest is bugged right now. Many say they are unable to progress in the quest since Tyra is not moving or walking.

The problem seems to have angered a lot of players since it is preventing them from progressing in the storyline. Generic solutions such as restarting the game and verifying game files is not helping either.

Below are some reports from Valhalla players for whom Tyra stops moving in the Finding Fritjof quest.

Finding Fritjof mission bugged? Dawn of Ragnarok
I’m trying to follow Tyra. I’ve got past where you travel with her across the river, got to the other side, defeated the Muspels, and now she won’t move. She’s just standing there and I can’t progress to the dig site to find Fritjof… Anyone know how to fix a bug? I can’t seem to restart the mission, and I can’t move along through the story because she won’t shift lol

Yep. Stuck. No restarts, waking ups, getting wolves and soldiers to “wake up” Tyra, etc. worked. If you go and find the places on the road where the clues should be, there aren’t any yet. If you go to Fornama Dig Site, Fritjof isn’t there in the cage…(And with the “great” auto-save system that keeps only 5-10 latest autosaves I can’t go back in time to try to redo the quest.) So yeah, pretty much can’t play anymore…

Thankfully, Ubisoft Support has commented on the issue and said they are investigating the problem where Tyra stops moving when trying to complete the Finding Fritjof quest in Valhalla.

Hey there! We are currently investigating this issue with Tyra, and we do apologize for the frustration. Please keep an eye out for updates!

However, they did not share any ETA on when the problem will be resolved. Nonetheless, we will be keeping tabs on the matter and update this article when we come across more information so keep checking this space.
