Building and improving various aspects of Odyssey, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the latest and one of the best games in the decades-old franchise.

In a span of less than a year, Ubisoft announced that Valhalla is the second-largest profit-generating ever, selling more than 1.8 million in a week after its release.

But despite its commercial success, players have complained about several issues such as runes disappearing after player gear was automatically upgraded to Divine quality or the low quality audio issue which Ubisoft clarified won’t be fixed.

That being said, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players have been complaining (1,2,3) since launch that it is always raining whenever they load a save game.

It is really infuriating since the rain lasts for about an in-game day. Players have been long wondering if this is a bug or if the game is designed that way.

Below are some reports from AC Valhalla players who are tired of the in-game world raining issue whenever they load a save game.

For the past two months I’ve been experiencing an issue where my game loads into rainy weather regardless of what the weather was like when I saved the game. It is not game breaking but I am now pretty sick of it. It eventually stops raining but it always takes about a full in game day for it to stop. I tried waiting till it stops and then saving and loading back in but it again reverts back to rain. I’ve also played for several hours and still no matter what the weather is like when I save the game, it loads into rain.

I also had this (starting with rain, mostly in Ravensthorpe) during 3 or 4 days some months ago, and for some somme reason it stopped by itself, still sometimes spawning with rain, but only sometimes. I hope it will be fixed for you 🙂 But, in case it’s not fixed, (Really not sure it will fix) maybe changing Eivor’s gender could help, there is no reason for that, but there is also no reason for always raining, so giving a try is a bit worthy. I cross fingers for you 🤞

Thankfully, we came across a workaround that requires players to complete the ‘Myth in the Mountain’ myth in Snotingham and carry the body of the giant pict man down to the camp.

Turns out, a mystery called Myth in the Mountain, in Snotingham is the culprit all along. It apparently causes it to rain in the world, even though it is snowing at the location. The weather only reverts to normal when completed. However, the mystery triggers its completion too early. You are supposed to carry the body of the giant pict man back down to the camp, which ends the mystery properly with an extra line of dialogue. Do this, and you will no longer load in with constant rain. Thank GOD.(Source)

If you are tired of the constant raining in Valhalla, make sure to try this workaround and do let us know if it helped you in fixing the problem in any way.
