The Sims Mobile is the version for smartphones and tablets of the iconic ‘family management’ saga that has had so many installments over the years.

However, in the last few weeks, its players have been facing some issues and glitches that directly affect the ability to progress in the game.

As an example of the above, reports point out that The Sims Mobile gets stuck for many players when they try to claim rewards (like a gift box, for example).

In addition, the Eco Workshop in The Sims Mobile suffers from a bug that prevents players from moving forward. But, for this last glitch there are a couple of workarounds that can help.

The Sims Mobile stuck while collecting rewards, EA aware

According to multiple reports, this bug prevents players from claiming rewards in the game while causing it to freeze or stuck when attempting to do so (1, 2, 3, 4).

Hi, I have been playing Sims for a few months and my experience level Is 40 but my game got stuck while trying to open the (14 surprises for holidays) gift box, I deleted the game, reinstalled it, changed my wifi, changed my device, de authorised from facebook but still the issue persist. PLZ HELP!!

When entering the section to claim rewards (such as a gift box) and select one, the game does not show the option to obtain it, nor does it allow closing the section. So, the player must restart the game.

It seems that the developers are already aware of the glitch, an EA Community Manager made a post requesting related feedback to the players, so that the team can look more into it.

Eco Workshop glitched, players unable to progress

The other issue reported in The Sims Mobile is related to the Eco Workshop. According to multiple reports, there is a glitch that prevents players from progressing on it (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

The game appears to prevent the players from shifting the Eco Workshop because it says a Workshop is already in progress. This means that another cannot be started, so they can’t complete the daily tasks (1, 2, 3).

Eco workshop error

Sul sul! It’s my first post here! I know there have been many complaints about issues with the workshop so am hoping someone can help me with the problem I’m having now.

There is no option to start a shift. I am thinking I’m having the issue where one of my sims did a shift and then it glitched.

Some workarounds to solve the Eco Workshop bug

However, there are a couple of workarounds for this issue. The most recommended is to make all the player’s Sims idle and restart the game (1, 2). As a complement, you can also clear the game cache.

There are many recent bug reports for the Eco Workshop being stuck on a particular day, and for missing Career, Relationship, or Hobby events. What seems to work best is to make all Sims idle and then quit and restart your game. For some people restarting your device is also helpful. I use Apple products but for the Android users I believe you have the option to clear your cache as well.

In case the above does not work, there is another alternative. This is based on changing the language of the game and then restarting it.
