[Update: Jan. 08] Marvel's Avengers Cosmetic vendor has no specialty items in her wares, issue acknowledged

If you are a Marvel fanboy and an avid gamer, you must have heard about the Marvel’s Avengers video game. Released in September 2020, the game is developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix.

The third-person shooting action RPG game is based on Avengers and features both single-player campaigns as well as a multiplayer mode. Players have loved the combat system and the customization the game offers.

That being said, players recently reported that their units and resources were disappearing, which wreaked havoc amongst them.

Now, reports from Marvel’s Avengers players suggest that the Cosmetic Vendor has no specialty items in her wares. If you don’t know, vendors are store operators that can be found in various locations in the game.

You can buy items from them either by shelling out real money or in exchange for fragments that can be collected by playing the game or dismantling existing gear.

The developers introduced the concept of Specialty items in November last year with Iron Man’s Wakandan Stealth Outfit.

And according to a blog by Square Enix, the First Responder Outfits was to be available for purchase from Chastity the Cosmetic vendor. You can see in the image below how the Specialty Items section looks like right now.

Awesome! But the Specialty items section of the cosmetic vender is empty i thought the 1st responder outfits were supposed to be there?

Many Marvel’s Avengers are desperately waiting for the First Responders outfit that was supposed to be available from Chastity the Cosmetic vendor in the Specialty Items section.

Thankfully, Marvel’s Avengers official Twitter handle has acknowledged the issue and said that the developers are already working on a fix. However, they did not share any timeframe on when the specialty items will be available.

12:34 pm (IST): Marvel’s Avengers support has confirmed that the issue where Cosmetic Vendor had no specialty items in her wares has been fixed.
