Released on 28 October this year, Riders Republic is Ubisoft’s latest sports video game and the unofficial successor to Steep. Set in an open world that combines seven US national parks, the game features a career mode.

Players have the option to compete with others either in Mass Races or the 6v6 competitive mode known as “Tricks Battle Arena” where the team with the highest score wins.

The game takes inspiration from Steep and some features from the celebrated CREW series.

As is the case with every other Ubisoft title out there, players are no stranger to bugs and glitches. Many reported that they were experiencing performance issues and FPS drops on their PS5 after a recent update.

Unsurprisingly, Riders Republic players are now reporting that the recent update has broken the Ridge Bowl.

Many say that the Ridge Bowl is not working as intended after the 1.05 update thus making it hard for them to perform any tricks. This is really frustrating since the bug has altered the bowl physics.

@RidersRepublic @Ubisoft can you guys please fix the riders ridge bowl back the way it was before the update 🤦🏽‍♂️.i don’t know what happened but u can no longer go back in the bowl to the other side after doing tricks comming down.what’s going on with that??

Did anyone else notice that the update broke the bowl at riders ridge? You could only stay in it with skis/snowboards but now you can’t even do that. you either jump out or get pushed back into the bowl and lose momentum. I hope they fix this.

Some say that they are tired of Ubisoft breaking stuff in every update. As expected, verifying game files isn’t helping since the update is at play here. Users say that the Ridge Bowl skin is causing it to act up.

Fortunately, Ubisoft Support commented and shared that the developers were indeed aware of Riders Republic Ridge Bowl bug. They also said that it is currently under investigation but shared no timeframe on when it will be fixed.

Thank you for clarifying! We’re investigating this issue and will post updates on our page and the game’s Twitter.

Until then, those affected will have to live with the bug. We hope the developers find out the root cause of the bug and patch it in the next update. As always, when they do, we will let you know so stay tuned.
