YouTube Studio crashing issue on Google Pixel 6 likely affecting other Pixels on Android 12, reports suggest

If you are someone who runs a YouTube channel, you must have heard of the YouTube Studio app. The Google-designed app makes it easier for content creators to manage their channel and lets them respond to comments and set video upload schedules amongst much more.

Many use the app to keep track of their analytics on the go and even respond and filter out comments. Some even use it to upload videos on the go.

Having said that, Google recently launched the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro that came with Android 12 out of the box. The phones brought in significant changes such as an in-house SoC and a noticeable camera upgrade.

However, not everything went smooth since soon after the launch, many complained about apps crashes and unusual battery drain on Android 12.

Now, some users are now recently saying that the YouTube Studio app was crashing for them on their Pixel 6. This was really frustrating for those affected since they were unable to manage their YouTube channel using their mobile devices.

Would be cool if Google could fix the YouTube Studio bug on Android 12. I can’t respond to YouTube comments on my Pixel 6 Pro without force closes.

But recent reports suggest that the problem isn’t limited to Pixel 6 devices but is affecting those who upgraded their Pixel to Android 12.

While some say they are unable to launch the app at all, others say it crashes randomly and fails to save the typed description and tags amongst other attributes.

Since I updated to Android 12 the app just keeps closing on me when I scroll so far through my videos list, try and check comments, look through analytics and opens up my phone’s app list for some bizarre reason.

I thought that it was my devices fault, but it’s keep crashing on the new device too. When i minimize the window without closing the program and then i turn it back on after awhile, the program crashes and everything i was writing about disappears… description… tags… i waste so much time for rewriting everything over and over again…
