Dead by Daylight freezing or lagging on console, performance issues on multiple platforms acknowledged & being worked on

Dead by Daylight has a pretty decent player base across multiple platforms. However, there were reports of the crashing or freezing issue after a recent Day by Daylight update.

Now, console players are again experiencing the freezing or lagging issues with Dead by Daylight.

Multiple reports regarding the said lagging or freezing issues are pooling in on platforms like Twitter and Reddit.

The said issues clearly appear to be widespread and are spoiling the players’ experience on console.

However, affected players may not have to face the said freezing or lagging issues with Dead by Daylight for long.

This is because Dead by Daylight support has said that they are experiencing multiple performance issues across numerous platforms.

Also, the relevant team is working to resolve the said problems which further indicates that a fix might be on the way.

However, the official acknowledgement does not include any ETA for a fix so it is unclear exactly how long it will take to arrive.

It must be noted that players have been complaining about such issues ever since the Resident Evil crossover update came out.

So, it is possible that the recent freezing or lagging reports might be related to the crossover update issues.

Hopefully, the said performance issues get resolved soon so that players can enjoy the game without any hassle.

That said, we will report back with more details as and when we get new information to share so stay tuned.
