Dead by Daylight is a popular survival horror game and it is available on multiple platforms including PS4, PS5, Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, and more.

The latest Dead by Daylight update brought the Raccoon City map from another survival horror game series, Resident Evil, making it a crossover update.

However, players have started facing multiple issues after the said Dead by Daylight update including the crashing or freezing issue.

There are multiple reports of the said issue which clearly indicates that it is widespread. Users are even reporting that the invite function is not working for them and they are experiencing lag or flickering issue as well.

While it seems that the latest Dead by Daylight update broke the game, players may not have to face these issues for long.

The official Dead by Daylight Twitter handle has acknowledged the said issue with the Raccoon City Police Station map.

Also, it seems that this issue is present across all platforms which is why the said map has been disabled temporarily, while reports of crashes are being investigated.

This is good news for players as they might soon be able to play the Raccoon City Police Station map now that the issue is being fixed.

However, this is still based on our speculation as the official acknowledgement does not include any ETA for a fix.

Dead by Daylight has further said that players can get 300,000 Bloodpoints by logging in any time within the next week.

Hopefully, the crashing or freezing issue gets resolved soon so that users can enjoy the latest Dead by Daylight crossover update.
