New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on May 22, 2021) follows:

Being a flagship offering by the company, Realme X2 Pro was expected to enjoy special attention when it comes to software updates.

The device indeed got frequent updates and was quick to get the Realme UI 2.0 Early Access program last year.

This brought excitement to the Realme X2 Pro camp but little did we know, it wasn’t going to continue the same way.

Contrary to the claims by Realme of releasing stable updates, Realme X2 Pro Realme UI 2.0 update stayed limited to only the first few responders in the beta phase.

The Chinese Realme X2 Pro received the stable Realme UI 2.0 update last month and we expected an imminent rollout for the global variant as well.

Well, looks like the wait was long but worth the while. Realme may have released the stable Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update for the device owners if reports are to be believed.

A beta tester has confirmed that his handset has received the stable Realme UI 2.0 update which comes with version F.10 and bears the “official” tag.

The beta tester belongs to France but we expect all of these to be under the ambit of the Global version. So, the same update will roll out to other regions as well.

The company follows the pattern of releasing the stable update first for the ones who are part of the beta program to ensure the update doesn’t trigger a fatal issue.

The general public gets it a couple of days later the release and the update continues to roll out in a phase-wise fashion.

We also saw Realme Spain commencing a similar rollout for Realme X2 Pro a few days ago and this seems to be in line with that claim.

Folks in India will already be on the edge of their seats after hearing this news and they should be, the update may touch down any time from now.
