New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on June 08, 2021) follows:

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 debuted back in 2019 as an upper mid-range device. The phone is clearly meant for camera enthusiasts and came with the world’s first 108MP penta-camera setup.

Along with the insanely pixel-dense primary shooter, you also get 2 telephoto lenses, an ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro. The front camera too is one to brag about and sports a 32MP sensor.

To keep the price down yet offer some of the versatile camera tech at the time, Xiaomi had done some cost cuttings in the processor department. The Snapdragon 730G may be a fairly powerful unit but is definitely no flagship.

On the software end, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 came with Android Pie out of the box and has since been updated to Android 11-based MIUI 12.

The device’s China variant has been receiving regular MIUI 12.5 beta builds and considering that its ‘lite’ version has already been treated to the update, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 wouldn’t be left too far behind.

And that indeed is true as the device’s global variant has now bagged the MIUI 12.5 as a Mi Pilot build:
