Many OEMs are currently winding up the rollout of their respective Android 11-based custom skins to their eligible devices.

This, as many recent flagship devices from the said OEMs (which are obviously their top priority), have most likely received the updates.

From here on, it is expected that we should be seeing relatively low profile devices bagging their updates to Android 11.

Vivo has been doing a pretty stellar job when it comes to rolling out its Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 to its eligible devices.

Recently, we saw the Vivo Y19 devices bagging this much-awaited and anticipated update, much to the delight of these device-owners.

Today, it is coming to light that Vivo is rolling out the same update to yet another one of its Y-series devices, this time the Vivo Y11 from back in 2019.

Vivo-Y11-32GB

This device was first unveiled back in October 2019 and ran Android 9-based Funtouch OS 9.1 out of the box. It has since been updated to Android 10 and the Android 11 update is the last major upgrade for it.

In light of these issues, we would advise users of the Y11 to fold off from installing this update on their units for at least a few days to see if Vivo will address these issues.

We shall continue to keep an eye and update as and when we get more info so stay tuned.
