Oppo was one of the first OEMs to release the Android 11 update to its devices — the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro — through the beta program alongside Google.

Cut to now, the company has released its Android 11-based ColorOS 11 skin to a host of devices in beta and stable form.

The most recent smartphone to get the latest Android version was the Oppo A9. More on that here.

To keep users in the loop on the availability of ColorOS 11, Oppo has been sharing monthly rollout plans wherein it mentions the devices that will get the stable/beta update during the month.

But it seems Oppo has missed out on sharing its plans for ColorOS 11 on the Oppo F17 — one of the latest smartphones from the company.

The device launched towards the tail-end of September after Google released Android 11 for the public, however, came with Android 10 pre-installed.

Months later, Oppo has still not shared any details about the availability of Android 11 with its ColorOS 11 skin for the Oppo F17.

Matter of fact, the company has been responding to some queries (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) from users regarding the update by stating the following:

please be informed that any information regarding the ColorOS 11 update for OPPO F17 is currently unavailable. Kindly stay tuned to our social media channels for further updates.

Of course, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about since Oppo is most definitely going to release Android 11 with ColorOS 11 for the Oppo F17, although it may take a while.

The Oppo F17 Pro recently bagged the update to Android 11 and was even listed in the company’s ColorOS 11 rollout plan for February.

Therefore, it’s possible that the company may share some more details regarding the availability of the new skin for the Oppo F17 in its plans for March.

In this article, we’ll keep track of all details surrounding the status and availability of ColorOS 11 for the Oppo F17. So be sure to keep an eye on this space for fresh details.
