      OnePlus may consider adopting Digital Wellbeing wallpapers in OxygenOS 11 sometime next year

      Various OEMs are hard at work in a bid to deliver their Android 11-based custom skins to eligible devices. Check out our Android 11 tracker for more.

      OnePlus is also on track to deliver OxygenOS 11, its Android 11 custom skin, to more eligible devices as soon as this month, at least according to unofficial reports.

      Even as some devices have already received updates to OxygenOS 11, that doesn’t mean that this is all they’ll ever get.

      OnePlus plans to continuously improve the OxygenOS 11 experience by adding features and user-requested functions over time.

      Today, we are getting hints of yet another feature that could make its way to the official builds of OxygenOS 11 sometime in the future.

      Google debuted Digital Wellbeing with Android 9 Pie as a way to offer users a window into their smartphone usage habits, all aimed at helping them achieve a more healthy balance.

      Since then, we’ve seen a bunch of really good apps from Google’s Creative Lab, apps that tie into the Digital Wellbeing to offer more active screentime management options.

      These include Activity Bubbles, a live wallpaper that drops a bubble on your display for every time you unlock your device, Screen Stopwatch that counts your screen-on-time as a clock on your screen and more.

      For a while now, these Digital Wellbeing wallpapers have been exclusive to Pixel devices and now, other users want in on this.

      A scroll through the community forums and you are bound to come across users who would like an implementation of Digital Wellbeing wallpapers onto OnePlus AOD.

      Have you considered making digital wellbeing wallpapers after a overwhelming response for insight AOD. ?

      In response to this user query, OnePlus through a staff member, confirms that indeed, the team is brainstorming over this internally.

      He further adds that these Digital Wellbeing wallpapers could make their way to OxygenOS 11 sometime next year.

      While not exactly a concrete timeline or confirmation that these Digital Wellbeing wallpapers are indeed coming to OnePlus devices, it is a glimmer of hope.
