MIUI 12 users will soon be able to see in-game activities in Game service & data usage stats in Control Center

Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 has come a long way since it was announced in China. Its development is still on and major improvements keep on coming to light with stable and beta updates.

Since the latest changes are limited to Xiaomi’s beta testing program members, there is still some time before they are available on the stable channel.

Now, a Mi Community Feedback Team member has stated that a small yet handy feature will arrive for Control Center in the upcoming MIUI update.

The MIUI 12 Control Center feature has enhanced accessibility but it currently does not have a small option to show the data usage stats.

A Feedback Team member has stated that Control Center will feature the aforementioned option to show data usage stats in future MIUI builds.

Data usage show control center feature will available soon with upcoming MIUI update.

While the MIUI version was not specified, we would like to believe that the nifty feature will indeed arrive with the next MIUI 12 stable update.

This is simply due to the fact that the supposed MIUI 13 update might still be in the early stages of development.

Also, it would not make any sense to push a small feature with the next major MIUI iteration which might not arrive until next year. However, all this is still based on our speculation.

Apart from that, the latest MIUI 12 beta update version 20.10.28 brings a new feature to Game service along with a couple of improvements.

The MIUI 12 Game service will show in-game activities and this feature is also expected to arrive on the stable builds in the future.

Nevertheless, it is unclear when both handy features will arrive on the stable builds, hence, the wait is on until the OEM decides to push the said features.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
