[Update: Released] Realme C2 Android 10 (Realme UI) beta update early access program kick-starts, hurry up to apply

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 10, 2020) follows:

About a dozen Realme devices are running on the latest stable Realme UI skin based on Android 10 courtesy of OTA updates. The update first arrived in January on the Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT and more recently, the Realme 2 Pro bagged the update as well.

The Realme 2 Pro Realme UI rolled out in late June, but it turns out the company had not ironed out all major kinks. To this effect, a new patched-up version went live today, but little did we know Realme C2 owners were in for a nice surprise.

As of this writing, interested Realme C2 owners can finally submit their interest to try the new Realme UI update based on Android 10 on their devices. We already knew about this development, with the CEO having revealed a while back that the update will arrive in September.

As per the announcement post, the rollout process will be phased. In phase 1, only 1,000 Realme C2 units will be allowed into the program. Interested device owners must be on build A.28. Thereafter, fill out this form (here or here) by August 12. Qualified applicants will receive the update on August 13.

If you miss out on phase 1, you can rest assured phase 2 has got your back. To get a spot before deadline day arrives later this month, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Make sure your device update to the required ROM version→[RMX1941EX_11.A.28]

Step 2: Apply for the early access version in the Software Update interface following these steps: Open settings > Software Update > Tap on the settings icon on the top right corner > Trial version > Submit details and Apply now.

By the look of things, it seems the stable Realme C2 Realme UI update can be expected somewhere in late August or early September. But of course, this is purely dependent on how good the testing process turns out.

We will follow up the matter and let you know when the rollout begins. Meanwhile, check out our Realme Android 10 update tracker and Realme Android 11 update tracker to know when your device bags either update.

      Update 1 (August 18)

Realme C2 users who signed up to be part of the beta program for the Android 10 (Realme UI) update are now beginning to receive the much-awaited software update. The update is rolling out with the build numbers of RMX1945EX_11_C.41 or RMX1941EX_11_C.41. See the full story here.
