Original story (published on June 2) follows:

After carrying out the Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) beta testing for the LG G7 ThinQ for quite a while, LG finally decided to push the stable version of the update, back in the previous month.

The update was only live for the Korean variants of the LG G7 ThinQ units and it was pushed as version 30d for all the carrier-locked and unlocked variants of the device in Korea.

However, global variants are still kept under the wraps and there is no ETA as to when the users of the LG G7 ThinQ across other regions can expect the Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) stable update to hit their devices.

Thanks to curious users, as per one of our recent reports, you can now cross-flash Korean Android 10 firmware on your global LG G7 ThinQ units. For a complete and detailed guide, you can head here.

Moreover, apart from the Korean units, until now, only T-Mobile has been able to push the said update for its LG G7 variants.

But this changes now because there is a piece of information that depicts that the LG G7 ThinQ Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update is set to arrive in Canada by June-end or early July.

This information was shared by one of the Redditors, where when the LG customer support was asked about the Android 10 status for the Candian variants of the LG G7, to which the support replied the following:

Android 10 update for LG G7 and lower is expected late of June or early July.

And we would also advise our readers to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt, as customer support are, most of the time, not aware of the actual date of the rollout.
