LG hasn’t been impressing anyone in the tech industry for the past few years with its phones. Most LG smartphones released recently have been lackluster and have had nothing to make them stand out. The LG V50 ThinQ is a fairly recent device that launched early last year.

It packs in some decent specifications including the Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. It launched with Android 9 Pie running the show and since then has been updated to Android 10. Needless to say, the Android 10 update brought a host of new features along with the LG UX 9.0 skin.

Since the Android 10 release, there have been no major features added via a software update. Well, that seems to be changing now. LG is now releasing a new update for the LG V50 ThinQ which brings a huge number of improvements and features. It is currently live in Korea and is arriving as an OTA package.
