Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition MIUI 12 stable update rolling out (Download link inside)
Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 Pro back in June 2019. The device ran on the Snapdragon 855. A few months later in September 2019, the company released yet another Redmi K20 Pro in China, this time with a different chip, the Snapdragon 855+, and named it the Redmi K20 Pro Premium.
These devices represent some of the best bangs for the buck ratios we have today as they’re priced very competitively in the markets where they are sold.
Xiaomi is in the middle of rolling out its new skin on top of Android 10, MIUI 12. The skin has already rolled out to a number of devices in stable form and is in active beta testing for a few more. For more detailed coverage on the state of MIUI 12, check out out MIUI 12 tracker here.
The Global variant of the Redmi K20 Pro has already been updated to MIUI 12. Users of the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, which is essentially a renamed version of the same device, can get their MIUI 12 fix by installing the Xiaomi.eu ROM. More on that here.
Not to leave users of the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition out in the cold for too long, Xiaomi is today treating these users to some tasty MIUI 12 goodness back at home.
