The Taiwanese technology giant does not have a transparent update roadmap and users are always kept under the rocks regarding any updates.

Asus has already delayed the Android 10 update for the Max Pro M1 and M2 citing poor test results as the reason behind the delay. Thankfully, you have the option to install the CarbonROM 8.0 based on Android 10 on the ZenFone Max Pro M1.

And now CarbonROM developers have also extended their support for the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M12. For the unaware, the CarbonROM basically focuses on providing its users with additional versatility and customization of Android.

What’s more exciting is that the CarbonROM 8.0 official post also states that those who are running the latest CarbonROM 8.0 will be getting the followup updates weekly, every Wednesday.
