Once again we’re here with the latest monthly security update releases. While Realme C2, Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S9 & S9+ are picking up the May security patches, Verizon Motorola Edge+ and Moto G7 Play (Unlocked variants) are getting the April OTA.

Let’s glance at the devices details one by one :

Realme C2

With May Security Update, Realme C2 receives the newest upgrade. In order to make sure, there are no crucial glitches, the update will be sent to the selected devices first, followed by a larger release later. The edition has been updated to version RMX1941EX 11.A.25, and the update is sized 92.5MB.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G

Samsung is also pushing the latest May security update to Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G. This update incorporates new functionality for the camera with better security to the phone. This comes with the version F907BXXU3BTDD. The update is available in the UK region, others should follow soon.

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S10

Verizon recently released the May patch for Galaxy S10, and now T-Mobile has pushed out the same. The update includes bug fixes, fresh and improved features, and also enhances the device’s performance. It comes with version: G975USQS3DTD5, G975UOYN3DTD5 and is 207.17MB in size.

Samsung Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+

Two more Samsung devices getting the monthly OTAs are the Galaxy S9 and S9+. Both are getting security updates for May. This update promises better stability, and bug fixes. Samsung Galaxy S9 is getting bumped to version G960FXXS9DTD7/G960FOXM9DTD7. The size of this update is 118.52MB.

Moto G7 Play Unlocked

Also in the list is the unlocked edition of the Moto G7 Play, which is picking the April Security Update. The latest update provides improved security to the handset. The version number for the update is: PPYS29.105-134-12.

Verizon Motorola Edge+

Verizon has released the April Security Patch for Motorola Edge+. The update contains Wi-fi improvements and enhancements for USB-C wired headset. It comes as version: QPB30.188-43.

This software update contains:

Wi-Fi Improvements: Better connectivity for Multi Access Point Wi-Fi Routers.
Enhancements for USB-C wired headsets: Improved Audio quality for USB-C Wired headsets. Source
