Google is making a good development in adding more devices to the list of ARCore supported devices. As soon as a new smartphone arrives in the market, Google makes serious efforts to add it to the official list of ARCore supported devices.

The Mountain View giant has made considerable advancement in the field of augmented reality (aka AR). And in line with this, is a software-based solution, that Google calls ARCore.

What this ARCore does is that it allows the developers to bring augmented reality features on their apps, more importantly without the need for any dedicated hardware on the device.

In the recent past, a set of devices from Xiaomi, i.e. the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Note 8 and Note 8T grabbed the ARCore support. And if we go by recent developments, Google has updated the ARCore supported device page and has extended the ARCore support to a new bunch of phones.

Oppo Find X2/X2 Pro, Reno3 Pro, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2, Moto G8, Samsung Galaxy M31, and Galaxy M21 are getting Google Play Services for AR support.

The owners of the above-mentioned phones can now download and install any app that makes use of the AR service without any issues. Users can manually download the Google Play Services for AR app or install it via trusted third-party sources.

Matter of fact, lately, we have seen a lot of games and apps being developed using AR and AI that lets the user dive deep into the virtual world. Moreover, there is plenty of AR-based content available which the users can now enjoy on their devices.
