New update alert: Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus, Galaxy S8 & Note 8, Sony Xpreria 1 & Xperia 5, Redmi Note 7, Redmi K30 (5G), & Mi 6

There’s a fresh lot of updates for many devices. These include devices from Samsung, Sony, Redmi and Xiaomi. The update improves device security and optimizes system stability. In this regard, the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, Sony Xperia 1 and the Xperia 5 are receiving the latest March security patch updates.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus, Redmi Note 7, Redmi K30 5G are getting the February security patch update. In China, Xiaomi Mi 6 users are receiving an update that fixes issues related to the status bar, notification shade, etc.

March 2020 Updates

Sony Xperia 1

First off, we have the Sony Xperia 1 that has just received the security patch for the month of March. The firmware version of the said update is 55.1.A.3.107.

Along the same lines, the Sony Xperia 5 is also receiving the latest security patch. The update, with the version number 55.1.A.3.112, brings March security update to your device.

Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung is also pushing the latest security updates to its devices. On that note, the Galaxy S8 has received the March update. it weighs around 426MB in size and has as G950FXXSBDTC1/G950FOXM8DTC1/ G950FXXS8DTC1 its version number.

The Redmi Note 7 is receiving February’s security patch update in India. The updated version is V11.0.9.0.PFGINXM, up from version V11.0.6.0.PFGINXM. Apart from that, Music Card has also been added to the App Vault and the App Lock is now supported for all apps. Weighing around 696MB, here’s the complete changelog of this update:
