New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 18, 2020) follows:

Google came up with the Android 10 update back in September 2019. In the beginning, only a few OEMs like apart from Google like OnePlus and Essential were able to push the Android 10 updates to their select devices. But very soon, others like Xiaomi, Nokia, Motorola, LG and more joined the race.

Now, as the new year has begun, the market share of Android 10 is expected to increase steadily as more smartphone manufacturers will go about releasing the update to eligible devices.

In line with this is the Chinese smartphone giant Huawei, which is running behind in terms of pushing stable Android 10 updates. However, recently, the company has made the EMUI 10 (Android 10) stable update live for the users of Honor 8X.

Honor is the sub-brand of Huawei that targets the younger audience by providing decent specs for a comparatively low price. And Honor 8X is also one of the mid-rangers that came out back in 2018.

The currently circulating EMUI 10 aka Android 10 update is arriving with the version number V10.0.0.170 and weighs in a hefty 3.53 GB in size. It, of course, brings in the new features and goodies of the EMUI 10 along with Android 10 specific features as well.
