Plenty of new updates are now knocking the doors of smartphones from different smartphone manufacturers. Namely, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Mi 9T Pro, Mi 9, Mi 6X, Sprint Moto G6 Play, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.2, are being served with new patchsets.

Keeping up with the pace, Samsung has updated yet another smartphone from its portfolio with the March 2020 security update. The update is currently live for the users in Germany and the global coverage is expected soon.

Bunch of Xiaomi devices are now grabbing the February 2020 update. Mi 9 and Mi 9T Pro update is live for European and global users, while the update for the Redmi Note 7 is available for users in China.

Nokia is also not far behind and has now rolled out the February patchset for Nokia 5.1, 3.1 and 2.2. US carrier network Sprint also brings February 2020 update for Moto G6 Play.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The 2018 flagship model from Samsung, i.e. the Galaxy Note 9 is getting upgraded to the latest March 2020 security patch level. As mentioned above, it is now live for the users in Germany.

It arrives with the version number DTB6 and weighs in around 125.06 MB in size. Below is the screenshot of the update along with the changelog of the same:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Mi 9T Pro, Mi 9, Mi 6X

The Redmi Note 7 is getting the update in China with the version number V11.0.6.0.PFGCNXM, and brings plenty of improvements and bug fixes for the phone.

The update weighs in around 615 MB for the global version and 703 MB for the European version. Both the updates for Mi 9T Pro, share the same changelog which is mentioned below:

For the global users, the update is purely incremental in nature, but for the European users the update packs in bug fixes for notification shade, screenshots, etc. as well.

US carrier Sprint has also made the February 2020 update live for the users. It arrives with the version number PCPS29.118-67-5 and is purely incremental in nature.

Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.2

Nokia is on a roll in delivering the February 2020 patches as recently, it updated the Nokia 9, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1/6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 3 and Nokia 1 to the February update.

And now another batch of Nokia devices are getting the update. Nokia 5.1’s February update is coming with version 3.25H and weighs around 116 MB in size. While the update for Nokia 3.1 carries version number 3.25H and weighs 99.8 MB in size. Nokia 2.2 gets the update as version 1.63E and it sizes around 76.9 MB.
