      [Official] T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update re-released

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on March 03, 2020) follows:

T-Mobile support revealed early last week that Samsung Galaxy S9 One UI 2.0 update based on Android 10 had started to roll out.

Matter of fact, the Magenta carrier went ahead and updated its official software support pages with details of the new update as you can see in the screenshot below.

T-Mobile updated the S9 and S9+ support pages with One UI 2.0 changelog for some time

But after a period of no-show for reports from actual users who had received the update, some users started speculating that the update may actually not be out yet.

And indeed, a couple of days later, T-Mobile revealed that the rollout had been temporarily put on hold, consequently updating its software support pages with the new info, as seen in the screenshot below.

T-Mobile later changed the Galaxy S9 One UI 2.0 update release date to TBD

While both Galaxy S9 and S9+ support pages on T-Mobile still have their Android 10 availability date marked as TBD, we now have actual reports from users of the devices who have received the OTA update.

The update is arriving as software version G960USQU7DTA8 for the S9 and G965USQU7DTA8 for the S9+, weighing in at close to 2GB and bundles February security patches.

As per the Redditors who have received it, there doesn’t seem to be any concerns with the new firmware, but it won’t hurt waiting for a few more days before making the switch. This period should be enough for you to gather feedback on how good or bad the update is before updating your unit.

      Update (March 05, 2020)

T-Mobile has updated its official software update pages for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with details of the latest Android 10 OS.
