Asus ROG Phone II now has over 200 games supporting 120fps
The gaming industry is witnessing a revolution, thanks to the advent of powerful smartphones. Games that a few years back were limited only to consoles and PCs are now available on smartphones.
Moreover, with devices like ROG Phone II, which is a gaming dedicated phone, smartphone makers are trying to give users a more console-like experience.
Asus came out with the ROG Phone 2 last year, featuring upto 1TB storage, 12GB RAM, and Snapdragon 855+. However, one of the best features that Asus added to the ROG Phone II was the support for 120fps (frames per second).
Such a high refresh rate means a smoother screen, which in turn, results in better user experience when playing games. Though the ROG Phone II supports 120Hz refresh rate, the app developer also needs to update their apps to support such refresh rate, and this slowed things down a bit.
However, from time to time, Asus has been listing the games that support the increased refresh rate to make sure users stay updated. And, only recently it updated that list to say that over 200 games now support 120fps.
Some of the new games added to the list are The Walking Zombie 2, A Planet of Mine, Last Arrows, Tower Madness 2: 3D Defense and more. To view the entire list, visit this link.
Along with the announcement for the over 200 verified games running at 120fps, Asus also announced that now there are more than 200 verified games that run faster than 60fps.
This latest announcement of milestone update will surely be welcome news for the ROG Phone 2 users. Such users will now have more options to realize the full potential of their phone.
