      Since the launch of VoWiFi (WiFi calling) services by two of the major network operators in India, Jio and Airtel began, users of smartphones that do not support this feature were on their toes for getting it.

      Realme, which is one of the fastest-growing brands not only in India but across the globe has been prompt in addressing this issue and fixing it.

      In fact, the brand has released the timeline for the VoWiFi update for its devices, which you can check out below:

      Realme 1 was supposed to get the update in the coming month of March but there is some good news for the users of the device. According to user reports, Realme has made the VoWiFi feature enabled with a new update.

      Moreover, the update also brings in the February 2020 security patchset for the device. Notably, the device was previously running on the December security patchset.

      To recall, the Realme 1 came out in 2018 and is powered by Helio P60 paired with 3-6 GB of RAM, a 3,410 mAh battery, and a 6-inch display. In the camera, the department has a 13 MP single rear camera as well as an 8 MP camera in the front.

      The new update also brings in new swipe gestures navigation from both sides as well as the hotspot speed limit for the Realme 1 device. This airborne update arrives with the version number C.47 and weighs in around 204 MB in size.

      Keep in mind that the update is arriving via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However,  you can check for the update by heading to Settings>>Software Updates>>Check for new updates.

      Update (February, 25)

      Realme 5 and 5s are also grabbing the VoWiFi (WiFi Calling) feature along with the latest February 2020 security patchset. Talking about the update, Realme 5 gets it with version number A.25 and brings the camera fixes as well.

      On the other hand, the update for the Realme 5s arrives with the update version A.25 and brings in the same changes for the devices as Realme 5 (mentioned above).

      Update 2 (February, 25)

      The VoWiFi update is also now live for the users of Realme U1 along with the February 2020 security update. The update carries version number C.17 which is based on Android 9 Pie and weighs in around 2.06 GB in size.

      Update 3 (February, 26)

      The February 2020 security patchset is now available for Realme 5i as well. The update also brings in some major enhancements and changes for the camera as well.

      The update comes with the version number A.16 and weighs in around 2.59 GB in size. It adds VoWiFi calling support for Jio and Airtel networks in India. Below is the changelog of the update:
