OPPO last week took the wraps off its latest ColorOS 7 skin that is based on Android 10 and quickly opened the beta recruitment for select devices in China.

The devices in question are the standard Reno, the Reno Ace, and the Reno 10x Zoom, all of which are now receiving the ColorOS 7 beta firmware in China.

The company has also revealed its official Android 10 roadmap for the Chinese market and today, we have details of when the global market can expect to receive the ColorOS 7 update. Below is a tweet from the official ColorOS global Twitter handle.

OPPO has attached an image to this tweet with the names of devices that will receive the ColorOS 7 update alongside the dates to expect. Of course, you can never be sure with software release dates, but this roadmap gives us something to look forward to.

Beginning today, November 26, owners of the standard OPPO Reno and the Reno 10x Zoom can head over to the device’s Settings > Software Updates > Setting Icon and then select Trial Version to grab a copy of the latest Android 10 OS in beta.

During the month of December, OPPO will bring the new ColorOS 7 update to the Reno2, F11, F11 Pro and its Avengers Edition variant and in Q1 2020, the software will be made available for the Find X and its variants, Reno2 F, Reno Z, R17, R17 Pro, RX17 Pro, Reno2 Z, and the OPPO A9.

Owners of the OPPO F7, F9/Pro, R15/Pro, A9 2020, A5 2020, and OPPO K3 will receive their ColorOS 7 update in Q2 2020.

OPPO notes that the beta firmware will not be released in all regions where these devices are sold, but when the stable version arrives, everyone will get a share of the new ColorOS 7 goodies. Until then, stay tuned to our OPPO and Android 10 sections for more related stories.

As per the schedule, the Android 10 based ColorOS 7 is now globally available on OPPO Reno & Reno 10x Zoom units as trial. The beta recruitment is still on. Details here.

OPPO has revealed the official release dates of ColorOS 7 update for the Reno2 Z, Reno2 F, and RX17 Pro aka R17 Pro. The company has also shed some light on its Android 10 plans in Q2 2020. See the full details here.
