[Live now] Looking for watchOS-inspired always on iOS charging screen? Stay put, jailbreak tweak in the pipeline!

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 24, 2019) follows:

Over the past years, Apple has been building an entire ecosystem of devices. Unlike most of the manufacturers, they don’t rely upon others for firmware. And, that’s why they want to keep their software closed with little to no options to personalise.

We can’t help but bring Android into the discussion here because it lies in the extreme positive end in terms of customisation. To enhance the already available options, you get millions of apps on Google Play as well. But for iOS, your path is too narrow.

You know, there’re always unofficial ways to achieve something! Same for customising iOS/iPadOS too. Goes by the name jailbreaking, it helps you go deep into the entire filesystem to get you privileges, you are never allowed to have by default.

Once you jailbreak your iPhone, you can choose from multitudes of jailbreak tweaks to add widgets directly on the lock screen, make multitasking easier, get display orientation prompts, change screen resolution of A12 devices, etc.

Have you ever thought of porting features from Apple Watch to iOS? In case you have experienced watchOS, you know it possesses some cool widgets, which is available for jailbroken devices now. What caught our eyes today is a teaser of another jailbreak tweak called Pip.
