OEMs are not only busy with the rollout of the Android 10 update for their respective devices but side by side the timely push of the security updates is also something that is keeping the smartphone brands occupied.
The latest security patchset is the December 2019 update that brings in a lot of fixes for vulnerabilities for the Android devices. Nokia, which is now owned by HMD Global has been on top when it comes to pushing of timely updates.
And in a recent development, two of Nokia devices i.e. Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco is being served with the latest December 2019 security update. Notably, the updates are purely incremental in nature.
Similar to other OEMs, Nokia is also gearing up for the push of the Android 10 update for its devices and if we go by the official roadmap of Android 10 update shared by Nokia, both the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco will be updated to Android 10 by Q1 of 2020.
Let us take a look at the updates received on either of the Nokia smartphones, one by one:
Nokia 5.1 Plus
Nokia 5.1 is an Android One based device that was launched back in 2018, and sports features like MediaTek Helio P18 SoC, 2/3 GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch display, offers 16/32 GB of onboard storage.
Now, talking about the update, it comes with the version number V2.20E and weighs in a nominal 72.4 MB in size. Below is the official changelog along with the screenshot of the update prompt:

Nokia, as already mentioned is always upon its toes for pushing timely security updates and the November 2019 security update for the Nokia 5.1 was pushed for the device back in the month of November.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
Nokia 8 Sirocco, which was launched back in 2018 is also getting the latest December patchset. This new update arrives with the version number V4.14J and weighs in around 82.4 MB in size.
Notably, it was served with the November security update back in the previous month. The update comes with a pretty generic changelog which you can find below, along with the screenshot of the update prompt:
