The present generation Galaxy M and Galaxy A series of smartphones from Samsung offer reliable performance at a reasonable price point. Well, Samsung has recently released the November security update for the Samsung Galaxy M30s and Galaxy A70.

Additionally, the budget-oriented smartphone Samsung Galaxy M10 has also received the October patch. These security updates are meant to resolve a lot of vulnerabilities for these Android devices.

Samsung Galaxy M30s

Samsung Galaxy M30s is a trustworthy mid-range smartphone that packs an immersive 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display, and Exynos 9611 processor powers it. Recently, Galaxy M30s has received a security update with software version ASL2.

Unlike the older Galaxy M30s update with software version ASL1, this update doesn’t offer any major software improvements. This update is around 97.16MB in size and its changelog states:

This update packs the same November security patch as the previous ASL1 build for the Galaxy M30s. 

Samsung Galaxy A70

The next Samsung smartphone that has received the November security update is the Samsung Galaxy A70. This mid-range smartphone is powered by the capable Snapdragon 675 processor and it packs a versatile triple camera setup.

In addition to the November security patch, this update also enhances the fingerprint recognition algorithm on this device. 

The size of this update for Galaxy A70 is around 234.70MB and it’s changelog states:

  • For better recognition, we recommend that you remove your fingerprints and register them again.

The security of your device has been improved

The latest update for the Galaxy A70 has the software version ASL1, while the older update that brought the September security patch for the device had the build number ASI2.

If due to some reason you haven’t received the software update notification yet then you can manually install the update on your device by going to Settings>Software update>Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy M10

Samsung Galaxy M10 is the last device on the list that has been updated. This budget-oriented smartphone receives software updates on a quarterly basis. As a result, it has received the October security patch now.

Similar to the previous update that the Galaxy M10 received in September, the new update with build number BSJ4 doesn’t bring any new software features or improvements to this device. 

This update is around 170.24MB in size and its changelog states that:
