Pokemon Go : Darkrai Raid Counters Guide, schedule and timings

Niantic has already announced the details regarding the Pokemon Halloween event. Pokemon Go Halloween Event 2019 will start tomorrow on October 17, 2019, and it will stay live until November 1, 2019.

Pokemon Go Halloween features the spawning of Dark-type and Ghost-type Pokemon in the wild, raids, and eggs. The upcoming event also features some new Shadow Pokemon. Team Go Rocket is using these Shadow Pokemon to invade Pokestops.

Players are required to defeat Team Go Rocket grunts and save Shadow Pokemon with the help of a process called Purification. Well, apart from that, the most exciting thing that is happening under this Halloween event is that Darkrai will appear in raids.

Speaking of Darkrai, it is a pitch-black Pokemon and will appear as a Tier 5 Raid Boss. Darkrai is weak against strong fighting and fairy type Pokemon. Players will be able to catch Darkrai in the CP range ( 2048-2136), and weather boosted Darkrai will fall under the CP range (2560-2671). Mentioned below are the best counters of Darkrai.

Apart from Darkrai raids, players will be required to defeat Team Go Rocket grunts, as discussed earlier. The following Shadow Pokemon will be seen alongside Team Go Rocket grunts: Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Electabuzz, Magmar, Lapras, Mareep, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Sableye, Trapinch, Cacnea, Shuppet, and Duskull.

Pokemon Go Halloween Event is also bringing in Halloween themed costumes for Pokemon. The following list of spooky items will be added to the game under this event: Zubat Bag, Cubone Cap, Pikachu Onesie, Litwik Cap, and Mimikyu bag.

Also, Halloween themed Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander will also appear in raids under the Pokemon Go Halloween event. Players will also get the chance to encounter Halloween themed Pikachu in the wild. Speaking of new shiny Pokemon, Yamask, which is also known as a Spirit Pokemon, is making its debut under the Halloween event.

For a quick refresher, Regi-Trio (Regirock, Regice, and Registeel) is returning back to Pokemon Go for a limited amount of time. Regi-Trio event will start on November 1, 2019, and will stay live until November 4, 019, at 1 pm in your local time zone.
