Pokemon Go : Jirachi to arrive globally in Pokemon Go tomorrow
There are strong rumours that Generation 5 Pokemon will mark their entry in Pokemon Go pretty soon. But amidst this, a mythical third-generation Pokemon Jirachi is expected to arrive globally tomorrow.
Starting on August 15, Pokemon Go official twitter account has been teasing an image puzzle in the form of connecting the dots or stars. Today, the image puzzle has finally been sorted and has revealed a dotted image of Jirachi.
So, it is confirmed that Steel/Psychic Mythical Pokémon will join the game tomorrow for all global users. Jirachi was first made available through research tasks during Pokemon Go fest, but no information regarding its global release was made out.
Pokemon Go data miner Chrales revealed in July that Jirachi would make its entry into the game under ‘A Thousand Year Slumber’ event, which has been detailed in images below.
Following a similar pattern, last year’s Celebi was first made available for the Chicago fest, and after a month, it was released worldwide.
Chrales has also revealed that players have to complete several in-game tasks to get Jirachi for themselves. According to the leaked information by Chrales, Jirachi special quest focuses on Hoenn region Pokemon. Players will also have to catch Whimsur and Loudred.
Jirachi hibernates for extensive periods, and Jirachi is also said to grant wishes. In Pokemon Go, the loud uproar of Loudred will help awaken the mythical sleeping Pokemon, which only wakes up for seven days every thousand years. However, Jirachi can also waken up by a voice of purity.
According to the previously leaked information, players will be required to catch a few Steel and Psychic-type Pokemon and the event will be named as ‘A Thousand-year Slumber’.
Pokemon Go fans and players are pretty excited about the arrival of Jirachi in the game. It will be interesting to see whether Jirachi will grant three wishes to players or not.
However, Niantic has also announced the ‘Water Festival‘ event for Pokemon Go. The upcoming Water Festival event features Water-Type Pokemon. The spawn rate of Water-Type Pokemon will increase during the event.
Pokemon Go Water Festival event will begin on Friday, August 23, 2019, at 1 pm and will stay live until Friday, August 30, 2019, at 1 pm PDT.
The following list of Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild around water.
Magikarp, Wooper, and Wailmer will appear more frequently in the wild. Also, Water-Type Pokemon like Blastoise, Vaporeon, Lapras will appear in raids on August 28, 2019, from 6pm to 7pm in your local time zone.
