On the other hand, Amazon India is hosting Fab Phones Fest sale on their e-commerce platform. The campaign started since March 5 and will continue till March 7 i.e. Thursday.

Talking about the OnePlus 6T, Amazon is offering an extra ₹2,000 off on exchange of an old phone, which is actually in line with March Madness deals.

The offers also include no-cost EMI, 5% instant discount on HDFC cards, Jio cashback of up to ₹5,400 and free accidental and Liquid Damage Protection insurance worth ₹2,000 on opening a Kotak 811 Account.

The effective price of the phone under the deal becomes ₹37,999 for the 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage variant and ₹41,999 for the 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage variant.

While the shopping bonanza will continue for the whole month of March, OnePlus wants to participate with their fans in the festival of colors – Holi!

March is upon us and we’re edging closer to Holi aka the festival of colours! Holi is a festival that welcomes spring, marks the end of winter and celebrates the victory of good over evil. Holi is characteristic of vibrant colours, some traditional snacks and beverages and an all-round good time of fun and fellowship.

This year, we want to celebrate Holi in classic OnePlus style. So, on the 16th of March, we’re getting 100 community members to come together at a location in Delhi where we can celebrate Holi together as a group. We’re bringing all the classic elements of Holi to the community. So expect iconic Holi tunes, food, sweets, thandai, and a lot of colours!

To register, you need to signup here. As they have mentioned: “Remember to decide your Kurta sizes beforehand”.

Amidst the moments of fun and zeal, the smartphone maker does not forget upcoming Women’s Day. They are organizing a community meet up in Chandigarh at the OnePlus Experience Store in Brigade Road at 6PM on the 8th of March.

OnePlus considers the matter of  women empowerment in the truest sense of the term. A pragmatic example is here:

Moving to the bug bash round.

The Chinese OEM rolled out Open Beta 13 for OnePlus 6 and Open Beta 5 for OnePlus 6T few days ago. The changelog was pretty much minimal:

System

– General bug fixes and improvements

Clock

– Fixed lag while setting an alarm

Phone

– Improved stability for video calls

Looks like they have broken stock call recorder with this update, as reported by users (here, here, here). The phone app always crashes after trying to access call recording related settings after updating to this build.

Fortunately, OnePlus Bug Hunter team is aware of the glitch. According to them, the issue will be addressed in next Open Beta build.

Greetings. This is Jeff from OnePlus Bug Hunters Team, thanks for your feedback.

This issue will be fixed in the next update, please check how it’s working after the releasing.

Thank you and have a nice day.

High regards,
OnePlus Bug Hunters
