The year 2019 so far has been a bumpy ride for users of the TVMuse service.

Towards the beginning of January, it came to light the service is down, as the official website – tvmuse.com – became inaccessible. While users were looking for TVMuse alternatives, a linker at the original website started sharing links on one of their own web pages.

Note that this guy had explicitly revealed he was a linker at original TVMuse website, but deleted that tweet for reasons unknown.

Anyway, moving on, recently, it came to our notice that a site called TVMuse.cc has been launched. The banner at the homepage of this new site said (and still says) the following:

Unfortunately we lost our domain tvmuse.com, we are working on recovering our database, in a few days we will have the website ready. Please bookmark our new site (Ctrl-D). Thank you!

The reason behind the loss of domain, however, wasn’t revealed.

So we had reasons to believe that TVMuse.cc is officially the new TVMuse home, although Pop Alexandru doesn’t seem to agree.

Interestingly, someone who also claim they were linker at the original TVMuse website came out in support for TVMuse.cc, accusing Pop Alexandru of promoting their own blog. Here’s their response to Alexandru’s tweet:

As you can see, there’s still an element of doubt when it comes to TVMuse.cc being the official new TVMuse home. However, that shouldn’t stop people from using the service. So with that in mind, we have some new info related to TVMuse.cc.

Firstly, the site is being quickly populated with new links. And recently, the maintainers have revealed the future road-map for the site. They recently offered a heads up about upcoming features. Here’s the list of upcoming features:
