Original story (published on September 18, 2023) follows:

YouTube TV promises NFL Redzone subscribers the convenience of streaming on up to four different devices simultaneously, however, some users have been experiencing limit errors when attempting to use this feature.

This feature is particularly useful for households with multiple viewers and avid football fans who don’t want to miss a moment of the action.

Moreover, subscribers are unable to add Redzone in multiview as they can’t find it in any multiview channel list.

According to the plan details, if users sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket with NFL Redzone, the multiview options will include both out-of-market games and Redzone.

However, this isn’t the case with many as they aren’t able to add Redzone to Multiview. Below are some reports (1, 2, 3, 4) from those affected:

While watching at home with 4 devices I keep getting streaming limits errors. I bought 4k plus last week. My IP changed yesterday when I installed a new router. It’s enforcing the 3 stream limit away – but I am at home. Yes I updated my home location once these errors started. Sunday ticket (Source)

This can be frustrating especially when you have paid for the subscription and still can’t access the feature.

Fortunately, YouTube support has allegedly responded to one of those affected and said that there’s a system-wide issue that erroneously limits households to a certain number of streams.

However, there’s no information on when it will be fixed. Also, the support team has escalated the issue with multi-view for further investigation.

That said, we will keep you updated on the latest development as and when anything noteworthy comes to our notice.

Update 1 (September 20, 2023)

05:43 pm (IST): One of our readers, who allegedly contacted support, were told that this is a known issue and it will get resolved by Sunday.

That was my Reddit post, I have 4 devices…Never was resolved yesterday. Honestly this was a NFL Sunday Ticket issue I was having. Called support again this morning. Known issue, will be resolved before Sunday they said. Huge PIA it was, constantly clicking try again. Actually I was only using 3 of my 4 devices. If I logged out of one of the three, no errors.

Thanks for the tip: Rick O’Dwyer!
