It was back in December last year, when we first highlighted reports that said YouTube’s sidebar has gone missing. Looks like the problem has reared its ugly head again. We are again seeing a lot of similar complaints. Take a look:

Reports are not literally pouring in but have been consistent, which suggests the issue is affecting only a subset of users. For it’s part, YouTube’s Twitter handle has been suggesting some workarounds.

Clearing cache and cookies is one of them, and it has worked for some, but not for all. Here’s someone for whom it worked:

And here’s a report that says clearing cache and cookies didn’t change anything:

Officially, YouTube hasn’t said anything on the matter, so we don’t really know if this is a known problem or not. But rest assured, we are keeping an active tab, and will update the story as and when we come across newsworthy information on the matter.

Until then, share your YouTube sidebar experience with us.

Yahoo mail issues and problems

While the YouTube issue still persists, now we are seeing reports from users of the Yahoo Mail service that say they can’t access the website for sending and receiving emails.

Report from at least one user suggested it could be a browser specific issue:

For its part, Yahoo has confirmed it’s a known problem and is currently being investigated.

Thank you! Our engineers are investigating this issue. While we cannot provide a specific time when the issue will be resolved, our team is working to correct it as soon as possible

Dunkin Donuts app issues and problems

Users of the Dunkin’ app are now reporting issues. Affected users say they’ve been automatically logged out of the app. Here are some reports:

Even their US website appears to be down. We’re keeping a close watch, and will update the story as and when we have more info on the matter.

Comcast email issues and problems

The Xfinity system email has been down for a significant amount of time now. Users are taking to social media to vent their frustration:

For its part, Comcast says the company is working hard to fix this outage.

We’ll let you know when there’s more info available on the matter.

PiunikaWeb is a unique initiative that mainly focuses on investigative journalism. This means we do a lot of hard work to come up with news stories that are either ‘exclusive,’ ‘breaking,’ or ‘curated’ in nature. Perhaps that’s the reason our work has been picked by the likes of Forbes, Foxnews, Gizmodo, TechCrunch, Engadget, The Verge, Macrumors, and more. Do take a tour of our website to get a feel of our work. And if you like what we do, stay connected with us on Twitter (@PiunikaWeb) and other social media channels to receive timely updates on stories we publish.
