[Update: Fixed] YouTube acknowledges Addams Family 2 audio glitch, no word on ETA for fix

If you are a fan of animated movies then you might be well aware of the historic movie called The Addams Family. It was first introduced in 1938 by Charles Adams showcasing the Addams family holiday.

This cartoon play got very well recognized and many more TV shows and movies were made since then. The latest animated movie based on the Addams family holiday was released in 2019 by MGM called ‘The Addams Family’.

The sequel to this movie — The Adams Family 2 — was released on October 1, which is just a couple of days ago.

Besides theater, this movie is also available to watch on different online platforms including Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Google Play, and more.

Meanwhile, those who have purchased The Addams Family 2 movie on YouTube are facing some audio issues while watching it. As per the reports, they are unable to watch it due to missing sound track.

@TeamYouTube Trying to get a refund because Addams Family 2 sound is broken, but it says I can’t because I’ve already watched it. I have not. Where do I go/who do I talk with? (Source)

This is pretty annoying and this isn’t something that you expect from YouTube. Not at least with the new releases for which many are always excited.

The fact that paying for the movie in full hasn’t been enough to watch it without annoying audio issues is in itself frustrating. And as expected, some are even calling out YouTube for refunds.

But after getting a bunch of complaints about the same issue, the YouTube team has finally acknowledged the Addams Family 2 audio glitch, noting that they are currently investigating the bug.

Moreover, those affected can try to claim the refund for their YouTube purchase by visiting the Paid Membership page here and then follow these steps:

– Choose the purchase you’d like to be refunded for and tap the three dots on the right
– Select ‘Problem with purchase?’
– Select the option that best describes the reason you’re requesting a refund
– Select ‘Continue’
– Review your refund request and tap ‘Request Refund’

Currently, there is no known workaround for The Addams Family 2 audio bug on YouTube. Granted, you’ll need to wait until the officials fix it.
