If you live in Luxembourg and have been craving for the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, crave no more. Through Orange, one of the country’s leading telcos, you can now buy any of the two phones either full price or through the carrier’s mobile plans. This news was made through an official statement released by Orange Luxembourg, confirming availability of the phones. It marks the first time ever that Luxembourgers can officially purchase a Pixel phone in the country without having to resort to importing from Germany, France or Belgium.

The Pixel 8 is available in Obsidian while the Pixel 8 Pro has been listed in Bay and Obsidian color options. Only the 256GB storage option is available for both models. The Pixel 8 goes for €859 ($927.14) full price, but you can opt for one of two plans. The first plan includes 15GB of monthly data when you pay €299 ($322.72) upfront followed by €9.99 ($10.78) per month for 6 months and later €14.99 ($16.18) per month for 24 months. Alternatively, you can have unlimited data with the same upfront fee and €39.99 ($43.16) for 24 months. If interested, here’s the link to buy.

On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro can be yours for €1,159 ($1,250.94). But you can also get it on two plans. The entry-level 15GB data plan will cost you €499 ($538.58) upfront and €9.99 ($10.78) per month for 6 months followed by €14.99 ($16.18) per month for 24 months. As for the unlimited data plan, the same upfront fee applies followed by €39.99 ($43.16) per month for 24 months. If this is the phone you’ve been waiting for, it is available for purchase through this link.

According to Barbara Fangille, Head of Brand, Communication and ESG at Orange Luxembourg, this is a direct response to the many requests to bring the Pixel 8 into the country. So maybe Pixel fans in other unsupported countries can start nagging their carriers to sell Google phones locally.
