New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on July 21, 2020) follows:

Android is by far the best mobile operating system for tech enthusiasts who want a ton of customization options. Further, thanks to the development community for Android, users are not limited to using skins provided by Android vendors.

From the sea of different custom ROMs, Paranoid Android is one of the most popular custom ROMs at the moment. It’s been around for a long time and has since added support for several smartphones.

The development team for Paranoid Android has even brought Android 10 to a bunch of devices. Some of which will not be getting the update via official means. Of course, not all Android phones can be supported at once.

Thus, the Paranoid Android team adds support for more devices along with each release. Quartz 1 was released for the OnePlus 7 Pro, 6/6T, 3/3T, Xiaomi Mi 9/6, Redmi 5, ZenFone Max Pro M2/M1 and Essential Phone. Quartz 2 added support for the OnePlus 5, 5T, and 7T Pro.

Following this, Quartz 3 added the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro/Redmi K20 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi, Redmi Note 8/8T, Xiaomi Redmi 3S, Xiaomi Redmi 4A and Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro to the list of supported devices.

Cut to now, the Paranoid Android team has officially released the fourth stable build of Paranoid Android Quartz. With this, it has also brought support for a set of new devices. We’ve listed these devices below:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3
  • Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi 9T/Redmi K20
  • Xiaomi Mi A2

– July security patchset.
– App Locker(system wide).
– Swipe to Face Unlock on lockscreen.
– Internal audio screenrecord support.
– Full gestural navigation mode support.
– Unlink ringtone and notification volumes.
– Volume Panel version 1.1.
– Heads Up tile.
– USAP support.
– Support for FOD dim only icon(OnePlus).
– Longpress power button to enable torch.

The team has also mentioned that five additional devices will soon bag support for Quartz 4. These 5 are the Google Nexus 6P, OnePlus 7/7T, Xiaomi Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3.

Further, the devs have confirmed that they are working on bringing support to a few other devices for future releases. The screenshot below contains the list of devices.
