Xiaomi Mi A1 came out in 2017 with Android 7.1.2 OS out of the box and as promised by the OEM under the Android One program, it has received its two major OS updates in the form of Android Oreo and Pie, meaning Mi A1 Android 10 update is far from reality.

Matter of fact, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that no Android 10 update is in the pipeline for Xiaomi Mi A1. Seeing one last update (Android 10), thousands of Mi A1 users signed a petition on Change.org. However, it went in vain as the device is officially not eligible for Android 10.

Third-party custom ROMs are now the only option left for Mi A3 users to enjoy the features of Android 10. And if we go by the latest reports, one of the popular custom ROMs, LineageOS 17.1 based on Android 10, is now officially available for Xiaomi Mi A1.
