Some X (fka Twitter) users unable to change profile picture or header

Previously, some users reported that they were unable to change their user or display name. And now a similar issue has been observed by some with respect to their profile picture and header.

Recently, some X users have found themselves (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) facing an unexpected obstacle when changing their profile pictures or headers.

When attempting to make these updates, they encounter an error that prevents the changes from going through. The error message says ‘The operation couldn’t be completed’.
