World of Warcraft Faction Change taking longer than expected or stuck for some, issue acknowledged

World of Warcraft, also known as WoW, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that has been enjoyed by millions of players around the world for over 17 years.

In WoW, players create a character, choose a faction, and embark on a quest to explore the vast and immersive world of Azeroth.

However, World of Warcraft players are encountering issues with Faction Change (1,2,3,4,5).

According to social media reports, it appears that a number of WoW players have been encountering problems with the process of switching factions.

They have expressed frustration with the faction change process, with some reporting that they have been waiting for hours for the change to go through.

While some other players have also reported that their faction change is stuck, meaning that they are unable to complete the process.

Also, they are unable to redo it as it shows a ‘pending’ status.

It’s available now, tested it with guildies and seems to work. But be warned – seems like long wait times I guess because everyone is doing it. I faction changed nearly 3 hours ago and it’s still processing. Maybe best to do it overnight or something like that.

A potential reason behind this could be the overwhelming number of players that are attempting to faction change since the new patch dropped with a lot of new stuff.

Fortunately, Blizzard support said that they are aware of the delays and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible. But no ETA for a fix was shared.
